A dream nurtured for so long! Finally, with the 2020 vintage, the first bottling made solely from the Bosco vineyard grapes. It deserved its own identity achieved through Separazione.
The Bosco vineyard was planted by my father in 1972. It faces northeast at an altitude of 480 meters. One hectare of loamy soil, planted with old-clone Sangiovese Grosso from the 1970s, with very low yields. It survived the historic frost of 1985, protected by oaks, holm oaks, and manna ashes.
I believe vines have memory, and over more than fifty years of life, this vineyard has accumulated experience learning to produce, in any condition, perfect grapes that give the wine its unique nose and timeless elegance on the palate.
